Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, has been recognized as a 2020 recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).
This distinction recognizes Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center for developing a foundational pathway towards continuous quality improvement. The Center has taken the initial steps to achieving performance excellence by creating systematic, sustainable, and person-centered care and services.
On receiving the award, Karen Chadderton, Administrator at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center, said, “Riverside has been committed to enhancing quality over the years. This is one step in our ongoing efforts.”
The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program is a progressive, three-step process that encourages the continuous learning, development, and execution of integrated quality systems to achieve performance excellence. Each progressive step requires a more detailed and comprehensive demonstration of quality integration and performance. The criteria for each step is based on the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program.
As a recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award, Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center will continue developing approaches and achieving performance levels that meet the Silver – Achievement in Quality Award criteria.
